The Indianapolis zoo

On Monday Kevin, Bobby and Speedy took in the zoo. Bo was nursing a hang over or maybe doing laundry. Who’d a thought we’d run into Ca and Carey on the visit.

This is a monument honoring the fallen soldiers and sailors from Indiana, that served in all the conflicts involving the United States.

the Game

A great game. Indy won a close one, even though it shouldn’t have been that close. The final was 23-17. Peyton had an off day, but still managed to post a “W.”  Nfl.com summed the game up like this:

Kelvin Hayden returned an interception for a touchdown, and Javarris James ran for his third TD in two weeks as the Colts held on to beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-17 on Sunday.
It was just the second time all season that Colts star quarterback Peyton Manning failed to throw a TD pass.
But the banged-up Colts (6-3) didn't need Manning's arm to win this one. Instead, they scored 13 points off five turnovers and stopped the Bengals twice in the final 2 minutes, 40 seconds.
The Bengals (2-7) have lost six in a row and dropped to 0-7 against Manning.
Cincinnati created most of its own problems. Carson Palmer was picked off three times and nearly had two returned for touchdowns. Cedric Benson's first-half fumble led to another Indy touchdown.

Indy 2010

For the 2010 season the guys traveled to Indianapolis to see the Colts take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
